ROTTERDAM TARIFFS TO RISE

Quay dues in Rotterdam are set to rise by 2% next year, while most port and inland shipping tariffs are to go up by 2.6%. The latter amount is to compensate for inflation (2%) and to maintain investments in public infrastructure (the remaining 0.6%). The increase for tankers carrying crude oil will be slightly lower, at 0.4% in real terms.
