SEPTEMBER PS News Euromax
The Euromax terminal, operated by Europe Container Terminals (ECT) in Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, is now up and running.
The terminal covers an area of 84 hectares, has a length of 1,500 metres and a capacity of 2.3m teu, and features the latest generation of electrically-driven equipment.
ECT has also opened the 840-metre Delta Barge Feeder terminal, which offers feeder and barge operators their own dedicated terminal within at the tip of the Delta peninsula. This has an annual handling capacity of 700,000 barge and feeder moves.
