RMS will now have operations in five ports on the Humber and will be able to provide services to clients through handling larger ships with cargoes of up to 30,000 tonnes.

Prior to their move to a bulk handling solution Resin Trade shipped all their cargo in 40′ containers, each containing 18 pallets of 55 x 25kg bags.

Over the past 12 months, the firm has moved to importing the majority of its cargo in polyethylene-lined 20′ containers. The resin can then be discharged directly into the silos, each with a capacity of 100 tons, and loaded into bulk tankers with ease.
