Two bid for Sagunto

The latter bid, which came from the Ros Casares Group, is said to represent exactly what the authority was looking for in that it met all the terms and conditions associated with the concession.

The concession bid for by the group is for TP1, which covers an area of 150,000 sq m and has a 470 metres long quay, with alongside draught of 16 metres. Up to 1m tonnes of cargo must be handled in the second year, rising to 1.3m tonnes in the third year.
