Fremantle backs truck plan

Fremantle Ports has indicated its support for the ACCC competition watchdog plan to give preference in terminal access to trucks engaged in dual runs.

Preference in vehicle booking systems is seen as facilitating improvements in truck utilisation and reducing traffic volumes around the port. This would result in environmental benefits and aid relationships with communities living close to port facilities.
