Patrick parent back on track
Asciano, the parent company of Patrick Stevedore, has told investors that the company has recovered some of the market share it lost 18 months ago.
Director Paul Garaty said at an investor briefing that historically the stevedore had achieved a market share in the early 50% range, and with the contracts now secured it would maintain a share of 50-51% going forward.
He added that Australian terminals were beginning to see a return to growth post-recession and Patrick expected to see growth of between 5% to 7% year-on-year.
