Portland ‘critical’ for southern success

The port of Portland is critical for economic growth in the so-called “Green Triangle” of south-east South Australia and south-west Victoria, Regional Development Australia says.

The authority’s chief executive Grant King says he believes the South Australian Government should have bought the port when it was privatised many years ago.
