Queensland stamps on port progress
The Queensland government has decided there will be no new ports created for the next ten years.
Under its Great Barrier Reef Ports Strategy, covering the area in or adjoining the Great Barrier Reef Heritage Area, only existing major ports will be allowed to expand.
