Townsville cash boost
The port of Townsville is to get an A$50m (US$37.7m) injection from the Federal Government to improve navy infrastructure. The funding will be used to upgrade unloading facilities for new naval heavy landing ships and to extend the ports berth 10 to accommodate handymax and handysize commercial ships.
