German container service digitalises operations
Addicks & Kreye Container Service, Bremerhaven has signed a landmark software licence agreement with EUROGATE IT to implement the operateMybox Depot module – a major step forward in the company’s digitalisation and automation strategy.
The cloud-based software streamlines the full range of container depot processes, including handling, storage, maintenance, invoicing and reporting, all within a single platform. Already in use at REMAIN Container – Depot and Repair in Hamburg, the solution promises to deliver greater efficiency, transparency and integration with broader logistics systems.
“With this step, we are raising the level of digitalisation and automation in our depot operations,” said Andreas Kellner, managing director of Addicks & Kreye.
“For us, it is a key investment into the future competitiveness of our Bremerhaven site,”
A key feature of the rollout will be the planned integration of CONROO, an automation tool that enables pre-announced truck arrivals, autonomous gate handling and digital yard management.
“With the module operateMybox Depot and the planned integration of CONROO, we are setting new standards in how container depots are run,” added Malte Bruns, head of operations at Addicks & Kreye.
The licence includes a full system setup and integration with Addicks & Kreye’s existing IT infrastructure.
