IAPH 2026 Conference registration open

The annual reunion that brings together over 200 port authorities and 170-plus port related businesses and stakeholders will be held over three days, 3-6 November, at the world-renowned Olympia centre in the maritime city of London.

Uniquely, the gala dinner and IAPH Sustainability Awards ceremony of the 71st edition of #IAPH2026 will be held at the city’s Natural History Museum. The event will take place in the extraordinary Hintze Hall beneath the remarkable 25.2m skeleton of the blue whale named Hope, in what is sure to be a memorable evening.

In an unpredictable and rapidly changing shipping environment the conference theme is Port leadership for a brave new world. #IAPH2026 will bring together senior port leaders with their global counterparts in shipping, supply chain management, technology and materials handling. Collectively they will provide delegates with powerful strategic insights that make an impact on the bottom line and chart a course for collaboration, growth and prosperity.

An impressive list of keynote speakers is already assembled to suggest routes that ambitious ports can follow to survive and thrive, adapt and innovate.

In the opening session alone delegates will be greeted by IAPH’s President Jens Meier and Managing Director Patrick Verhoeven, as well as Jonson Cox, Chair of othe conference’s Headline Sponsor the Port of London Authority. UNCTAD’s Deputy Secretary-General Pedro Manuel Moreno will then speak on redefining global trade and development, followed by Tim Marshall, the influential broadcaster and author of the acclaimed best-selling book Prisoners of Geography in which he argues that decision-makers need to put the ‘geo’ back into ‘geopolitics’ to properly understand global change.
