Tekmar secures Middle East port deal

The award reinforces the company’s growing presence in the ports and harbours sector and reflects continued demand for its specialist marine engineering capabilities.

Under the contract, Tekmar will be responsible for the engineering design and supply of bespoke scour protection systems. The solutions are intended to safeguard critical port infrastructure by enhancing seabed stability and ensuring long-term structural resilience in a challenging marine environment. Delivery of the systems is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

The project further strengthens Tekmar’s position within the global ports and harbours market and demonstrates the company’s ability to transfer offshore engineering expertise into a wider range of marine infrastructure applications.

It also supports Tekmar’s strategy of expanding its international footprint while diversifying beyond traditional offshore energy projects.
