Reporting to underwriting director Andrew Peers, Egerström will work closely with the club’s regional general managers and underwriting teams worldwide to drive strategic commercial initiatives, strengthen broker partnerships and help develop products and services that respond to the evolving needs of the global transport and logistics sector.

The appointment reflects TT Club’s focus on maintaining close engagement with its membership as supply chains become increasingly complex and the industry faces growing operational and technological challenges.

“Oscar’s appointment reflects the importance we place on being close to our members, brokers and the wider transport industry,” said Andrew Peers.

“As a mutual, our value proposition has always been about much more than just writing a policy – it’s about being present, understanding the challenges our members face, providing solutions and building relationships that stand the test of time.”

Egerström brings more than 20 years of experience in maritime law, shipping and marine insurance, including 13 years with TT Club. Most recently, he worked across underwriting activities in the UK and Ireland, Benelux, the Nordics, eastern Europe and central Asia, building relationships with ports, terminals, ship operators, tank operators, freight forwarders and logistics businesses.

He has also served as TT Club’s digital lead, monitoring emerging technologies and market developments to help ensure the organisation remains responsive to changing industry requirements.

Before joining TT Club, Egerström held positions with Glencore, AIG and Trafigura. He holds a Master of Laws in Maritime and International Trade Law from the University of Southampton and a law degree from Lund University in Sweden.

“TT Club has always been defined by the strength of its relationships and the quality of its service, and I am committed to building on that foundation,” said Egerström.
