The event will take place as part of the Valencia Digital Summit and is set to bring together leading voices in global port innovation.

“It is a great satisfaction to welcome participants to the third edition of PEIC in Valencia,” said Antonio Torregrosa, managing director of Fundación Valenciaport.

“A great event and a source of pride to organise it from Fundación Valenciaport, through the Opentop initiative, Valenciaport’s innovation hub.”

PEIC has become a key date on the international calendar for port entrepreneurship. The congress will open with a high-level dialogue between Mar Chao, president of the Valencia Port Authority and Antonio Torregrosa, managing director of Fundación Valenciaport.

Highlights of the programme include the Port Innovators Network session, with participation from innovation hubs representing the ports of Halifax, Hamburg, Tyne and San Diego. The congress will also feature a reverse pitching session spotlighting investment trends in the global port sector.

The agenda focuses on four strategic themes: blue economy, energy transition and sustainability, logistics chain efficiency, and port security and resilience. Each segment will include startup pitches followed by expert panel discussions.

For the first time, the PEIC Audience Award will be introduced, allowing attendees to vote for the most impactful startup presentation.

Attendance is limited. Interested professionals can email hello@opentop.es to register their interest.
