A combined force for smarter cargo lifting

The strategic partnership with Bromma, which manufactures container spreaders, will strengthen the company’s offering in terminal equipment and integrated lifting solutions for terminal operators worldwide.

Integrated solution

Under the agreement, Timars’ electrical Overheight Frame (OHE) will become part of Bromma’s global product portfolio, giving port customers access to an integrated solution for handling flat racks and open-top containers.

The partnership combines Timars’ expertise in overheight frame engineering with Bromma’s international sales and service organisation to support growing operational and safety requirements across container terminals.

Timars fully electric OHE frame is designed to automate handling processes without manual intervention and is compatible with all major container spreaders used in terminal operations. 

According to the two companies, the terminal equipment solution incorporates integrated safety systems and an optimised design intended to improve operational flexibility, reduce downtime and enhance safety during complex cargo handling operations.

Bromma said the partnership aligns with its focus on operational efficiency and safer container handling processes.
