AI partnership boosts voyage efficiency

The collaboration aims to enhance StormGeo’s maritime services with artificial intelligence capabilities focused on port operations.

The partnership will see StormGeo clients gain access to Awake.AI’s real-time port call analytics which provide improved estimated time of arrival predictions and deeper visibility of port congestion. These insights are designed to support just-in-time arrivals, reduce idle time and lower vessel emissions.

Awake.AI’s platform, configured for over 3,000 ports globally, processes more than 1.5 million voyage predictions daily. It uses historical traffic, AIS, vessel and emissions data to optimise port calls and avoid unnecessary delays.

Integrated via APIs into StormGeo’s s-Insight solution, the new analytics services deliver precise predictions, berth availability insights, traffic event alerts and analysis of avoidable waiting times.
