CM Labs upgrades crane training pack
CM Labs Simulations has launched an upgraded version of its Intellia ship-to-shore (STS) crane training pack.
The latest update introduces new features such as instant record and replay capabilities and optimised lane configurations for inter-terminal vehicles (ITV) and straddle carriers.
Developed with direct input from industry professionals and customers, the enhanced training pack is designed to improve both trainee performance and instructor effectiveness.
“We’re always looking for ways to take our training packs to the next level,” said Devon Van de Kletersteeg, product growth manager for ports, industrial and utilities at CM Labs.
“We encourage our clients to share feedback and use it to shape tools that meet the industry’s most urgent training demands.”
The new instant replay feature allows instructors to review exercises immediately after completion, with detailed timestamps marking key moments such as safety violations and objective completions.
Additionally, the training pack now includes lane configurations tailored for ITVs and straddle carriers. These improvements streamline the interaction between STS cranes and delivery vehicles, helping to replicate real-world conditions more accurately.
