Galileo Projections

A new tool has been launched to accurately predict the arrival time of ships in the Port of Montreal up to 21 days in advance. Dubbed project Galileo and developed by the Maritime Employers Association (MEA), in conjunction with Airudi and Scale AI, the new artifi cial intelligence tool is targeting improved dispatch of the port’s workforce. Galileo takes into account port traffi c, weather and quantity and type of merchandise, according to MEA.
