More companies sign up to being ‘green’
Twenty more maritime companies have signed the Maritime Singapore Green Pledge to show their commitment towards promoting clean and green shipping in Singapore.
The signing took place during the Singapore Registry of Ships Forum on Responsible Shipping and saw shipping lines, salvage companies and offshore service providers join 40 other companies who have agreed to stay ‘green’.
Launched in 2011, the Maritime Singapore Green Pledge is part of the Maritime Singapore Green Initiative comprising of three programmes – Green Ship Programme, Green Port Programme and Green Technology Programme.
