Chilean operators oppose Panitao tender

Armasur, the professional body representing maritime transport operators in Chile, is opposing the concession to build the proposed Punta Panitao port in the south of the country.

It believes this will attract a large port operator, which will undermine investment made by more modest local companies and create distorted competition in the market.
