Chilean workers strike over port law
Port workers in Chile have started an indefinite strike against a new law which affects their workers lunch and rest breaks.
The strike, which started on July 8th, has been organised by Union Portuaria and affects operations at a number of key Chilean ports.
According to Inchcape Shipping Services, operations at Iquique, Tocopilla, Caldera, Huasco, San Antonio, Lirquen, San Vicente, Coronel and Puerto Montt have been affected.
