Pucallpa port project progresses

The Transport and Communications Ministry in Peru has approved applications to build a new port terminal at Pucallpa, which it calculates will require investment of at least $16.7m.

The port, which will be built in the Ucayali region, will require dredging work and also maintenance of the connecting inland waterway system. It will be offered as a 30-year concession.
