Rio ready for five new terminals

The state of Rio de Janeiro will have five new terminals in the short to medium term. Açú, which is being built by LLX in the north of the State, is already half completed.

In Itaguaí, terminals handling coal and steel are planned, as well as a second public container terminal to rival the existing Tecon at Sepetiba. The port company, CDRJ, is also planning a further container handling facility.
