SAAM Terminals is partnering with Next Port AI to optimise port operations with advanced digital twin and AI technologies, ramping up performance and efficiency.

Two pilot projects will showcase this innovative solution, enhancing operational excellence and optimising the Terminal Operating System (TOS) which is crucial for managing and automating operations across SAAM’s terminals.

Machine learning

This partnership leverages Machine Learning algorithms and AI techniques to process information and generate valuable insights with advanced analytics.

By integrating Next Port AI’s sophisticated data platform, the TOS and other critical systems will be connected, adhering to industry standards like DCSA and TIC4.0.

This integration will support decision-making and exception handling in the terminals’ control rooms, ultimately maximising asset performance and streamlining centralised planning.
