It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Ocean shippers face a ‘brutal’ 2024
Next year could be ‘brutal’ for the ocean freight shipping market, according to the latest data from Xeneta
In October Xeneta reported that the market was once again in decline, dashing short-lived hopes of a revival.
The latest figures from the Xeneta Shipping Index of contracted rates confirm this with a drop of 4.7% in October, with the index now standing 62.3% lower than in November 2022.
