APSEZ gets green light for Mundra expansion

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone has been given the go-ahead to significantly expand its Mundra port

Central government has granted the key environmental and coastal regulation approval meaning APSEZ can now push ahead with plans to invest Rs 45,000 crore to more than double the port’s capacity to 514 million tonnes.

Located in Gujarat, Mundra Port is India’s largest container port by volume, moving 179.6 million tonnes of cargo in 2024.
