Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Decline in Valencia freight slows
The decline in freight traffic at Valenciaport is slowing, according to latest figures released by the Port Authority of Valencia
Analysis in July shows a 6.91% drop in the number of containers handled and a 9.15% drop in the volume of tonnes, which is lower than the 10.41% and 8.14% respectively in the year to date.
July is the second month in a row to show slowing decline.
