DP World boosts southeast Asia presence

DP World is bolstering its presence in southeast Asia with a series of investments to enhance supply chain management across the region

The company has committed to opening two new facilities in the Philippines as well as teaming up with Sabah Ports in Malaysia to manage Sapangar Bay Container Port.

The collaboration – the first of DP World’s ventures into the country – will double the port’s capacity and help transform the state into a key trade hub within the East ASEAN Growth Area.
