Johor Port Berhad, a member of the MMC Group, has boosted its container handling capacity with the arrival of two new Post Panamax Container Quay Cranes, manufactured by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co.

The RM71.2 million (around €14 million) investment marks a significant step in the port’s ongoing modernisation and expansion strategy.

Designed to handle Post Panamax vessels, the new cranes are built to improve vessel turnaround times, enhance cargo handling efficiency and support growing container volumes at Johor Port’s terminal.
