It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Greenport Congress Oceania will bring together environmental managers from port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines and logistics operators to learn about the latest sustainable developments and environmental practices in the Oceanic region and beyond. Kalmar has released a collision warning system for its straddle-carriers to help ensure driver safety
Kalmar is introducing a collision warning system for its manually operated straddle carriers.
Available as an optional add-on or as a retrofit upgrade, the system gives both visible and audible warnings when there is a risk of collision or if the spreader is too low, giving drivers more time to react to potential hazards.
