The Port of Middlesbrough has strengthened its position in the UK dry bulk market after handling more than 200,000 tonnes of bulk cargo over the past 12 months and investing in new infrastructure to support continued growth

The Teesside port, operated by AV Dawson, is increasing the range of commodities moving through its facilities, with growing volumes of ferrous sulphate, polyhalite, petroleum coke, salt and other industrial bulk products.
