The Fratelli Fazio Group has placed an order for a Konecranes Gottwald ESP.9 Mobile Harbor Crane, marking the first Generation 6 crane with a 200-tonne lifting capacity to be delivered to Italy

The crane, scheduled for delivery to Sicily’s Port of Augusta in Q3 2025, is set to enhance the port’s handling capabilities, particularly for heavy general cargo, including project loads and wind power generators.

The Port of Augusta, a crucial entry point into the EU’s TEN-T core network, has long relied on earlier-generation Konecranes Gottwald cranes for its operations.
