Scotland invests £750K in refrigerated cargo

The Port of Greenock in Scotland is investing £750,000 to significantly improve the country’s refrigerated cargo capability

Owned by Peel Ports, Greenock is Scotland’s only deepwater port. It says that increasing the number of reefer points from 32 to 220 will help the port maintain its position as a leading hub for cold cargo on the west coast, benefitting in particular the food production sector and pharmaceuticals manufacturers.
