Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Greenport Congress Oceania will bring together environmental managers from port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines and logistics operators to learn about the latest sustainable developments and environmental practices in the Oceanic region and beyond. Scottish port upgrade boosts offshore wind
Port owner Haventus has secured a further £100 million to fund the redevelopment of Ardersier Port in Scotland, boosting the UK’s offshore wind capability
The joint credit facility from the Scottish National Investment Bank and UK Infrastructure Bank follows an initial £300 million cash injection from energy investment firm, Quantum Capital Group, in 2023.
Located around 16 km east of Inverness, Ardersier is the UK’s largest brownfield port. Its redevelopment will boost offshore wind installation in the North Sea.
