£200m upgrade for Port of Immingham

Construction is set to begin on a major new freight ferry terminal at the Port of Immingham, with Stena Line and Associated British Ports confirming a joint investment of more than £200 million

The project, known as the Immingham Eastern RoRo Terminal, marks one of the largest recent infrastructure commitments in the Humber region, where demand for unaccompanied freight has grown steadily.

The new terminal will offer quicker access to the Humber Estuary along with capacity for larger vessels.
