The Port of Cromarty Firth has received formal marine and dredge licence approvals from the Scottish government for its £111 million Phase 5 expansion, paving the way for construction of the UK’s first purpose-built floating offshore wind turbine integration facility

The project includes a new 400-metre quay extension, land reclamation and associated dredging.

Phase 5 is central to the port’s long-term strategy to become a globally competitive hub for floating wind, servicing projects in the North Sea and beyond.
