Deal struck for major expansion at Maasvlakte II

New beginnings: ECT has dropped the lawsuit against the Port of Rotterdam regarding overcapacity issues at Maasvlakte II

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II has taken a significant step toward expanding one of Europe’s most advanced container terminals with the signing of a new deal alongside Cordeel Nederland and AECOM

The cooperation agreement launches a construction project designed to boost capacity, streamline operations and support the development of a fully emission-free terminal.

Cordeel Nederland will oversee the technical design and construction of new building components, while AECOM will contribute project management and sustainable infrastructure expertise.
