DP World to build Uzbek logistics terminal

DP World is teaming up with Tashkent Invest, a subsidiary of the Tashkent City Administration, to develop a new multimodal logistics terminal near the Uzbek capital

The US$288 million project will be constructed in phases within the Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent.

The terminal will include a rail-connected dry port, customs zones, vehicle storage, truck parking and over 220,000 sqm of warehousing.
