Maraen Port of Nigg has awarded the construction contract for its new Eastern Inner Dock Quay (EIDQ), marking a major milestone in its investment programme to expand port infrastructure capacity for the UK energy sector.

The GB£30m port construction project issued to McLaughlin & Harvey, will deliver a new 16,000m² heavy-duty quay with additional roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) capability, enhancing the port’s ability to support offshore wind and wider energy industry operations.
