Global Container Terminals has submitted its Deltaport Berth 4 expansion project to Canada’s new Major Project Office, marking a major step forward in advancing one of the country’s most significant private-sector infrastructure proposals

GCT is also calling on the federal government to add DP4 to the Projects of National Interest List, highlighting the project’s importance in strengthening Canada’s supply chains, attracting private capital and supporting climate-smart growth.

The DP4 project, located at Roberts Bank, is expected to add more than 2 million teu of container capacity, create over 10,000 jobs and contribute billions to GDP.
