Montreal Port expansion project begins

The Montreal Port Authority has started preparatory work for its long-anticipated container terminal expansion in Contrecœur

The first steps include essential site preparations and a major contract award for water infrastructure work.

The terminal will feature two berths, a large container handling area, an intermodal rail yard, a road-connected truck gate and supporting infrastructure.
