Peel Ports Group, the UK’s second-largest port operator, has appointed Gavin Laybourne as its first-ever chief technology and information officer, marking a major milestone in the company’s digital transformation

Laybourne will join the executive team to lead all technology, IT, cybersecurity and digital initiatives, supporting Peel Ports’ growth and sustainability goals.

The group says it aims to position itself at the forefront of digital innovation in the maritime and logistics sector.
