PSA Mumbai has officially inaugurated the Phase 2 expansion of its container terminal, doubling its annual handling capacity to 4.8 million teu and positioning itself as India’s largest container terminal

The expansion adds 2,000 metres of continuous quay length, enabling simultaneous handling of multiple mega container vessels and significantly boosting India’s maritime infrastructure.

Built across 200 hectares, the facility integrates renewable-powered equipment and continues the electrification of its diesel fleet, ensuring a sustainable boost to trade.
