Sweden opens joint maritime centre

The Swedish Maritime Administration and Ports of Stockholm have formally opened a joint maritime traffic centre in Stockholm, bringing key maritime traffic management functions under one roof for the first time

The initiative is aimed at strengthening safety, preparedness and coordination along Sweden’s east and north coasts, and was first announced in March last year.
