Plan for the Tilbury3 expansion at the Port of Tilbury on the Thames

Forth Ports, owners of the Port of Tilbury in the UK, have submitted an outline planning application to redevelop a 100-acre brownfield site next to Tilbury2, paving the way for a significant expansion of the Thames-based port

The proposed Tilbury3 (T3) development, equivalent in size to 70 football pitches, will form part of the Thames Freeport and benefit from tax site incentives.

T3 will accommodate a wide range of industrial and logistical uses, including warehousing, construction materials handling, container and vehicle storage.
