Unikai and IT specialist Akquinet have successfully completed the AKIDU project, marking a major step in the digital transformation of break bulk and RoRo cargo handling at the O’Swaldkai terminal in the Port of Hamburg

The project, funded by the German government under the IHATEC II programme, addresses the long-standing challenge of digitally managing complex, oversized cargo.

Key project outcomes include predictive land use planning, AI-powered storage space management and 3D real-time terminal visualisation.
