Dunkirk: two or three more cranes if traffic warrants it Dunkirks

Since all crane functions, e. g. crane driving and propping, can be executed by the remote control system, there is no need for an additional cabin fitted to the crane’s chassis or superstructure. The driver can move the crane from one site to another walking alongside and there’s not need for additional staff to provide guidance in order to avoid accidents when moving the crane.

Singapore-based Portek has been given orders by Dubai Ports Authority (DPA) to span change 9 units of Samsung RTGs from their current 8+1 wide configuration to the standard 6+1 wide. Portek will also fit the RTGs with Position Determination Systems (PDS). Portek has previously installed PDS and AutoSteering systems in Hong Kong International Terminal (HIT).
