ABP investments boost port operations

Associated British Ports has announced significant investments across its UK port network, with major developments at Southampton and King’s Lynn aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, safety and the handling of critical cargoes

At the Port of Southampton, ABP has successfully overseen the arrival of the first of four new quay cranes destined for DP World’s container terminal.

Meanwhile, at the Port of King’s Lynn, ABP has invested £150,000 in two specialist vacuum lifting attachments designed to improve the handling of large pipe cargoes.
