AD Ports’ digital arm, Maqta Technologies is teaming up with the BigBear.ai, a provider of artificial intelligence solutions for national security based in Virginia, US.

The partnership will see the two companies collaborate on the co-development and delivery of advanced digital solutions for customs and border operations. The agreement targets government authorities, customs administrations and port operators worldwide, extending beyond the partners’ respective home markets.

Maqta Technologies and BigBear.ai will explore the research, design, development, testing and deployment of digital platforms supporting customs management, border operations and cross-border trade.

Maqta Technologies brings to the partnership its established portfolio of port community systems, national single window platforms, digital customs clearance systems and trade facilitation technologies whilst BigBear.ai contributes experience in AI-enabled customs technologies including automated image analysis for inspections, risk management and decision-support platforms, and border management solutions.
