Cavotec inks MoorMaster deal for Dublin

Signed at the end of 2024, this marks the first deployment of MoorMaster technology in Ireland, with deliveries scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

“The installation at this new berth will serve as a benchmark for sustainable port operations in the region, while also contributing to the adoption of MoorMaster systems across Northern Europe,” said Nicklas Vedin, senior vice president and head of Ports & Maritime Division.

The MoorMaster NxG system is designed to improve operational safety and productivity by mitigating the effects of passing vessels, ensuring uninterrupted berth operations. It eliminates the need for vessels to reduce speed, enhancing smooth operations and reducing downtime.

Additionally, the system offers environmental benefits by cutting mooring times, lowering vessel speeds and enabling quicker engine shutdowns, leading to substantial reductions in carbon emissions.
